The Mass General for Children Advocacy Group is a group run by residents and for residents to facilitate projects in advocacy and community pediatrics. Every year the group’s agenda is shaped by its members, including new interns, who always arrive with energy and new ideas.

    Past and current activities include:
“Pediatric Residents and Fellows Day at the State House,” an annual event since 2006. This event is geared towards pediatricians in training who are interested in learning how the legislative process effects their patients. The day includes dynamic speakers, an interactive lobbying workshop, and discussion of bills, and culminates with individual or group meetings with MA state legislators to support the passage of child-friendly legislation.
